InBody 720 Body Composition Analysis

The InBody 720 Body Composition Analysis is a useful assessment for anyone wishing to understand the needs of their body. Over the past decades, a technique has been developed which analyses body composition based on the electrical conductive properties of biological tissues. Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) has many advantages over other methods in that it is safe, rapid and easy to perform. The technique has become widely used in hospitals, health clinics, fitness clubs and in studies.

The InBody 720 Analyser performs body composition analysis in an easy way  and provides in-depth results sheet in less than 2 minutes. Using six frequencies and five body segments, the InBody 720 records 30 impedance measurements to obtain comprehensive BIA values.

The InBody 720 is also a valuable tool in measuring effectiveness of exercise programs whether it is weight loss or ideal weight maintenance, or the programs maintaining healthy muscle mass and metabolism, both of which decline with age without proper training.

The InBody 720 analysis provides measurements of the following body compartments, which offer a comprehensive picture of a client’s health, optimal weight and specific exercise needs:

•    Body Weight

•    Body Fat Mass

•    Visceral Fat

•    Skeletal Muscle Mass

•    Total Body Minerals and Bone Mineral Content

•    Protein

•    Intracellular and Extracellular Body Water (body hydration levels)

•    Body Mass Index (BMI)

•    Percentage Body Fat

•    Fitness Score

•    Basal Metabolic Rate

•    Edema (water retention)

•    Body symmetry

•    Suggested Healthy Weight

A comprehensive in-depths results sheet is printed which is easy to read and understand the body composition assessment. Detailed graphs and recommended norms clearly illustrate patient results, progress and targets.

The data is supplied in a full colour printout and explained in a consultation.

Women in their first 12 weeks of pregnancy and patients with pacemaker or other internal electrical device are not suitable to use the InBody 720 analyser.
